The players who were not picked for the squad were Getafe goalkeeper Balazs Megyeri and Pogon Szczecin forward Adam Gyurcso along with Liverpool goalkeeper Adam Bogdan.
In the midfield, Hungary will have a blend young and old, Adam Nagy, with the 37-year-old Zoltan Gera, who is going strong with Ferencvaros. Debutant Laszlo Kleinheisler, who has made his debut in the qualifier match against Norway, could be a surprise package in a more attacking role. His sparkling performance will help Hungary to be on the front foot but there is a potency lack in front of him even if they have experienced Tamas Priskin who holds a decent record.
Balasz Dzsudzsak, Adam Nagy and Gabor Kiraly are the players on which Hungary depends a lot. Dzsudzsak is an energetic player and also leader of the team. Dzsudzsak, listed among the strikers, usually plays as a winger on the right side.
Nagy is 20-year-old promising midfielder while Kiraly is the oldest player in the team which will be protecting goals from opposition.
